Sunray Sportswear is a Japanese-made, Cornwall-designed collection of elevated basics inspired by 1950s leisurewear. Known for their perfectly boxy tees, each garment is crafted on antique loopwheel machines in Miyazaki, Japan—knitting jersey fabric slowly and without tension to ensure a side-seam-free, long-lasting fit that won’t twist over time. With roots in a factory that once produced uniforms for the Imperial Palace, Sunray brings heritage craftsmanship into the modern day. Designed in England and produced with care in Japan since 2019, the brand reflects a thoughtful, low-impact approach to clothing.
