Founded in 1996 by Vietnamese-born designer Chan Luu, the brand began as a personal passion project following her long career in retail. From making jewelry in her garage to growing a globally recognized label, Chan has remained dedicated to artisan craftsmanship and ethical labor practices—an ethos honored by the United Nations.

In 2021, her niece and longtime head of design, Tessa Tran, stepped into the role of CEO and Creative Director. With a clear creative vision, Tessa continues to build on the brand’s legacy, honoring its roots while shaping its future.
